FitSense Receives First Round Funding From Motorola and 2M.

WELLESLEY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000

FitSense Technology, Inc., developer of Internet-linked sports and fitness monitors, has received an equity investment from Motorola, Inc. (NYSE NYSE

: MOT) and 2M Technology Ventures, L.P. The funding will be used to launch and further develop FitSense's products and services. The FitSense pace-distance monitor, to be launched in November, is targeted at the 200 million people worldwide who run or walk regularly. FitSense is developing a line of wireless bio-monitors based on the BodyLAN, a short range, low-power wireless link.
