Fiserv Launches TD Waterhouse Banking Services Into the UK; Financial Technology Company Wins Multimillion-Dollar Agreement to Provide Core Banking Systems.

TD Waterhouse Bank has selected Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) to support its rollout into the United Kingdom. Fiserv will provide the account processing and key customer call center applications.

TD Waterhouse is the UK's largest retail, execution-only broker, with more than 600,000 customers. The company currently offers online and telephone brokerage services combined with access to information from some of the world's leading research providers. The launch of banking services brings the company a step closer to achieving its aim of becoming an integrated financial services provider in the UK.

Fiserv has worked with TD Waterhouse in the United States since 1994, when it was initially launched as one of the world's first electronic banks. Worldwide, TD Waterhouse provides investors and financial advisers with a broad range of brokerage, mutual fund, banking and other consumer financial products and currently has more than 3.3 million clients.

Fiserv will provide a managed service to process TD Waterhouse Bank accounts through its International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS) running in the Fiserv UK data center. This will be linked to the Bank's Web applications through the Fiserv open systems interface. In addition, Fiserv Alliant CRS and Branch Teller solutions will provide real-time automated payment processing and customer relationship management.
