Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.The Verklarte Quartet of the Cleveland Institute of Music The Cleveland Institute of Music is one of the nation's leading independent music conservatories. It is located in the University Circle district of Cleveland, Ohio, United States and is overseen by president David Cerone and Catherine Jarjisian, interim dean. Point of sale, billing, machine tool scheduling and supply ordering are part of CIM. ) won the $5,000 Grand Prize and a winner's tour during the 2003 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, hosted by the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association. In addition, the Verklarte Quartet won the Senior String Division Gold Medal and a $3,000 prize. Also winning in the Senior String Division were the Enso Quartet of Rice University in Houston, receiving the Silver Medal and $2,000, and the Harding Trio of CIM, receiving the Bronze Medal and $1,000. Winners in the Senior Wind Division included the Arizona State University Arizona State University, at Tempe; coeducational; opened 1886 as a normal school, became 1925 Tempe State Teachers College, renamed 1945 Arizona State College at Tempe. Its present name was adopted in 1958.
