FirstFed Financial Corp.

FirstFed Financial Corp., the parent holding company of First Federal Bank of California, has elected Gisselle Acevedo to the board. Acevedo is president and chief executive of Para Los Nifios, a non-profit family service organization designed to bring children of Los Angeles' most challenging communities out of poverty.
