First things first.The group leader of my MS support group just forwarded via e-mail Mary Mary, the mother of Jesus Mary, in the Bible, mother of Jesus. Christian tradition reckons her the principal saint, naming her variously the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady, and Mother of God (Gr., theotokos). Her name is the Hebrew Miriam. Which leads me to make another suggestion to include in ideas for "the self-help arts": Remember to put yourself first. That sounds like an easy thing to do, and it may be for some, but I tend to strive to maintain a normal activity level when I'm with family and friends.
