First profiles of COC.The first profiles made of Topas cyclic olefin copolymer Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) is an amorphous polymer made by several polymer manufacturers. COC is a relatively new class of polymers when compared to polypropylene and polyethylene. (COC See chip on chip. ) were extruded last January by Ensinger-Hyde, Washington, Pa., using five different grades of COC from Topas Advanced Polymers (formerly part of Ticona), Florence, Ky. Ensinger, which worked two years on this development, made samples of stock rods in 1- to 5-in. diam. and 1-in.-thick plates for distributor Boedeker Plastics Boedeker Plastics, Inc. is a plastic materials distributor & machine shop located in Shiner, Texas.
