The CampusEAI Consortium CampusEAI Consortium (CEAI) is located in Cleveland, Ohio. It is an independent, global, not-for-profit provider of information technology services and consulting provider focused on helpings it's member universities, colleges and schools to implement their Oracle Portal technology.  and Internet2 have launched the OPEN Student Television Network, the first nationwide student-produced television channel Through this collaboration, Open Student Television Network will now reach more than 3 million users at 220 Internet2 member research and education institutions, in addition to the 34 state education networks which have access to the Internet2 Abilene network Abilene Network is the U.S. high-performance backbone network created by the Internet2 community.

One of the project's aims was to achieve 100 megabit connectivity between every node by the end of 2006.
