First contract for Toronto Housing.


Toronto Toronto (tərŏn`tō), city (1998 est pop. 2,400,000), provincial capital, S Ont., Canada, on Lake Ontario. Toronto is the largest city in Canada and since the 1970s has been one of the fastest-changing cities in North America, experiencing  Community Housing and the Canadian Union of Public Employees The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE, French: Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique) is a Canadian trade union serving the public sector - although it has in recent years organized workplaces in the non-profit and para-public sector as well.  Local 79 concluded a Collective Agreement. This is the first two-party agreement reached by the local and Toronto Community Housing since the organization was created in 2002.

CUPE CUPE Canadian Union of Public Employees  represents 360 of the 1500 employees of Toronto Community Housing.
