CHARLOTTE -- Dot-com middlemen, beware. The state's two biggest banks are coming to a niche near you. First Union Corp. is starting an Internet bazaar that will sell office supplies and personnel services to small and midsize business. Bank of America Corp. is starting a business-to-business Internet marketplace. First Union's e-bazaar will open on a limited basis in the third quarter. B of A plans to roll out its Web site over the next 18 months.
