Each month, First Tuesday Atlanta invites representatives of a "Spotlight Country" to promote technology business opportunities in their country. Since its launch in December 2000, the organization has had representatives from Germany, Israel and the United Kingdom address its attendees. The May 15 event, coinciding with an official trade mission from Canada, will feature the highest-ranking delegation to date and the first time a foreign Cabinet-level minister has addressed the group.

To attend the May 15 event, interested participants should register at the First Tuesday Atlanta web site (http://www.atlantafirsttuesday.com) before May 10. Due to demand and the need to balance the mix of attendees, registration does not guarantee a space at the event. Selected participants will receive an e-mail confirmation by May 11. Those not selected are encouraged to attend the next First Tuesday Atlanta event on June 5.
