First Navy CWO5 promoted.


On 1 October 2003, Ronald Reagan (CVN (Card Verification Number) See CSC.  76) Chief Warrant Officer Leon A. Cole became the first officer in the U.S. Navy to be promoted to the rank of CWO CWO

5. Cole was sworn in by his son, Ensign Christopher Cole Christopher Okoro Cole (b. 1921 - d. after 1990) was a former Governor-general and President of Sierra Leone.
