Always an active community member, Stream is currently the president of the Muskegon Area Intermediate School Board, on the City of Norton Shores Economic Development Board, and the Board of Goodwill of West Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan Bankers Association's Economic Development Committee. He is past president of the Michigan Chapter of Robert Morris and Associates, Muskegon Civic Theatre and Muskegon Ambucs.
