First Magnus selects SharperLending as bundled services platform.

FIRST MAGNUS FINANCIAL CORPORATION, Tucson, Arizona, has selected SharperLending LLC, Spokane, Washington, to support its wholesale and correspondent divisions. SharperLending is a secure Web-based platform that allows lenders to order, store and manage mortgage products from multiple vendors at a single point of entry.

Originally partnered with SharperLending under its credit division in 2001, First Magnus privately labels SharperLending's enterprise-level platform with its multi-user collaboration, data-gathering, application-processing and decisioning capabilities. Since its implementation in April 2004, First Magnus' users have interacted with the SharperLending bundled services platform through a Webbased interface, offering flood, credit and insurance rates in one bundle.

Initially, the SharperLending platform was introduced to First Magnus' 3,200 employees and is now available to the entire First Magnus broker base. Currently designed for credit, flood and insurance, the platform now incorporates title and appraisal offerings. In the second quarter, First Magnus will expand the platform, adding additional lien positions and collateral valuation products.
