First Commerce Bancorp Reports Earnings.

ENCINO, Calif. -- First Commerce Bancorp (OTCBB:FCCC) today announced that net income (unaudited) for the year ended December 31, 2007 on a consolidated basis was $3,518,000 or $0.37 per share on a diluted basis compared to $3,322,000 for the same period last year, a 6% improvement. Net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 was $906,000 or $0.09 per share on a diluted basis compared to net income of $1,000,000 for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, a decrease of 9%.

Assets (unaudited) at December 31, 2007 were $285,470,000, up $17,105,000 or 6% from the prior year end. Deposits and net loans totaled $248,232,000 and $248,879,000, respectively, up 6% and 24% over the same period last year.

First Commerce Bancorp remains a "well capitalized" institution based on all regulatory standards. Additionally, asset quality at the Bancorp's subsidiary, First Commerce Bank, remained strong. The Bank has never engaged in the practice of subprime lending. At year-end 2007, the Bank's loan portfolio contained no loans delinquent over 90 days, no non-performing loans, no non-accrual loans, no foreclosed properties, nor were there any properties in the process of foreclosure.
