), announced today that its subsidiary, Aerospace Products International Inc. ("API (Application Programming Interface) A language and message format used by an application program to communicate with the operating system or some other control program such as a database management system (DBMS) or communications protocol. ") closed on the previously announced acquisition of five regional distribution centers from Superior Air Parts Inc.

In addition, API has been appointed a worldwide distributor for Superior's line of FAA approved replacement parts for Lycoming and Continental aircraft engines. API acquired the Superior operations for approximately $4.6 million of cash. No liabilities were assumed.
