First Atlanta Securities, LLC Announces Coverage of UOL Publishing, Inc.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1999--

First Atlanta Securities, LLC announced that it has initiated coverage of UOL Publishing, Inc. (NASDAQ: UOLP).

UOLP, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, manages and hosts Internet-based training and education courseware for corporations, government agencies and academic institutions. The Company's primary product is VCampus(TM), a proprietary virtual campus product. VCampus(TM) is an online courseware delivery system and environment that facilitates development, management and administration of training and education over the Internet and over corporate Intranets.

First Atlanta Securities believes that UOLP has put together a strong business plan that is set to take advantage of the increased use of the Internet for corporate and university training/education. In addition, the Company's On-line revenues for the past two quarters have increased substantially, while at the same time, costs have decreased. First Atlanta Securities said that UOLP is "currently trading at approximately 1.6 times estimated 1999 revenues." They go on to say that because of the lack of attention UOLP has received from Wall Street, as well as its estimated "temporary shortfall in revenues between Q3 and Q4, a ratio of 3 to 4 times 1999 estimated revenues is justified...." First Atlanta Securities put a six-month price target on the stock of $7 to $9.
