First Asian American Real Estate Convention and Gala Being Held in Southern California.SAN DIEGO San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. Coronado is across the bay. -- The Asian Real Estate Association of America will hold its 1st Annual Convention and Gala at the Hilton Long Beach & Executive Meeting Center on October 15. This event will bring together leading real estate and mortgage professionals that are focused on increasing homeownership opportunities within the Asian American market. The historic event will kick off with a Welcome Reception and Sponsors Expo on October 15 and concludes with an awards dinner and gala on October 16. The occasion will be co-chaired by Richard Gaylord, the National Association of Realtor's 2008 President, and First American Corporation's President Craig DeRoy.
