    WHAT: A big 'ole barn dance where pet lovers can kick up their
          paws, enjoy great food and drink from some of Portland's
          leading restaurants, and live tail-waggin' music by Music by
          Design all for a good cause.

          Tickets are available for $50 per person. All proceeds to

     WHY: Founded in 1868, the Oregon Humane Society is the
          third-oldest humane society in the country and the oldest in
          the western U.S. The mission of the Oregon Humane Society is
          to foster an environment of respect, responsibility and
          compassion for all animals through education, legislation
          and leadership. The organization cares for homeless animals
          and defends abused animals. The Oregon Humane Society has
