NAA member Factual Data Corp. has entered into a strategic partnership with End2EndLoans Inc. to provide users with instant seamless merged credit reports. This partnership provides End2End Loans' customers with direct access to Factual Data's products in seconds. Brokers and lenders can seamlessly connect with Factual Data without having to leave their End2End loans system. They also will be able to take advantage of Factual Data's four hours or it's free online customer service tradeline updates.
Movers and Shakers
National mortgage-banking firm Love Funding Corp. announced the hiring of Ed Steffen as Vice President. He will originate loans from the Atlanta office.
Steffen has more than 15 years experience in the industry, mainly specializing in large, new construction and rehab loans for high-rise multifamily properties in the United States. He is a recognized speaker on the subject of FHA financing and was an established lecturer for Crittenden's "Meet the Lenders" series for five years.
John Wagithuku was chosen as the 2001 Property Manager of the Year by the Property Managers Association of Washington, D.C.
Wagithuku joined NAA member Bozzuto Management Co. in 1995 as a Front Desk Clerk and was quickly promoted to Leasing Consultant that same year. In 1996 he was recognized by Bozzuto for Outstanding Leasing Performance. He was later promoted to an Assistant Manager of a 574-unit combination high-rise/garden apartment community.
In 1999, Wagithuku was promoted to Property Manager of the Metropolitan, a 308-unit mixed-income, mixed-use high-rise building in Bethesda, Md. During his first year, the property was recognized for the greatest increase in property value and his staff of 11 was honored as Maintenance Team of the Year. In 2000, Wagithuku was named as Bozzuto Management Company's Property Manager of the Year and recently was promoted to a Portfolio Manager at Bozzuto Management Co.
NAA member Dominion Management Services Inc. has named Susan Picotte as Area Manager. Picotte has worked for Dominion since December 2001. She will oversee community operations and work to maximize occupancy and resident retention at the Burlington in St. Paul, Minn., and other properties yet to be decided. Picotte has worked in the multihousing industry for 13 years. Prior to her position with Dominion, she worked two years at a recruiting and consulting firm.
NAA member Jupiter Realty Corp. promoted Madeline A. Hall to Senior Vice President. Hall joined Jupiter in 1996 as a Vice President of Business Development. In her new position, she specializes in the public financing of development projects and existing properties for the company's investment portfolio.
NAA member FirstWorthing named Perry Wallace Director of Construction Services. Wallace will oversee the operations of various construction responsibilities, including all construction budgets and all construction contracts. Wallace has 20 years of industry experience and has worked at Echelon Residential, Post Properties and JPI.
EMG announced that Elbert P. Ashland joined EMG's sales team as Vice President, Government Services. Ashland will direct EMG's services to the public sector in the western United States.
Formerly an executive with Professional Services Industries, Ashland brings 25 years experience providing consulting services to state and local governments. An expert in environmental and land use policy and legislative affairs, he has worked as a lobbyist and government affairs consultant to private industry in much of the western United States.
NAA member United Dominion RealtyTrust Inc. announced that the Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend on its common stock for the fourth quarter of 2001 in the amount of $0.27 per share, payable on Jan. 31, 2002, to all common shareholders of record as of Jan. 15, 2002.
Also, the Board declared a regular quarterly dividend on its Series D convertible preferred stock for the fourth quarter of 2001 in the amount of $0.482138 per share. The preferred dividend is payable on Jan. 31, 2002, to shareholders of record as of Jan. 11, 2002.
