SBI hopes to use Valencia's sound-stage building expertise to develop 17 acres it owns outside Atlanta into sound stages for both Internet and TV production.

"It turned out to be the best marriage," said Valencia Entertainment President and Chief Executive Vince Vellardita. "They have had acres sitting there empty, and we are a facilities builder."

Valencia Entertainment International owns and operates six sound stages with a combined 120,000 square feet of space on 12 acres in Santa Clarita, where television shows like Paramount Pictures' "JAG judge advocate general (J.A.G.) n. a military officer who advises the government on courts-martial and administers the conduct of courts-martial. The officers who are judge advocates and counsel assigned to the accused come from the office of the judge advocate " and Saban Productions' "Power Rangers This article lists fictional characters from the Power Rangers universe who have served as Power Rangers. The company just secured an option to buy four adjacent acres to build two new sound stages.

Vellardita said the original six sound stages have been booked solid for five years. "I had no space to do my own productions," he said.

Valencia's in-house productions include current TV pilots for 20th Century Fox.

The company is also working on Internet cybercasts, which Vellardita said will be enhanced by SBI's Web expertise.

"We will still do TV," said Vellardita, "but we will broaden our new-media activity."

Together, the two companies will continue production-leasing operations and will develop Web sites that host "real-time" auctions of antiques and autos. SBI is also preparing to soon launch FrontierPalace.com, a site offering online bingo Online bingo is the game of bingo (US|UK) played on the Internet.
