Firm tapped for Hopkins sponsor units.

City Connections Realty has been chosen as the exclusive broker for all sponsor units of the newly converted condominium building, The Hopkins, located at 172 West 79th Street.

The Hopkins was recently converted to condominiums and is comprised of 97 units. Forty units sold immediately in 2004 for an average of $900 per square foot. Of the remaining 57 units that are unsold, many are rent stabilized or decontrolled rentals. As the leases for these units come up there is the potential for sponsor unit sales.

The building is primarily comprised of large one and two bedroom units. The one bedrooms average approximately 700-800 square feet and the two bedrooms range from 1100 to 1400 square feet.
