Firm plans ahead for Lexington build-out.


Aragon Construction has begun work on a build-out for Aksia Research & Management's first New York New York, state, United States

Aragon is working together with the architectural design firm Mufson Partnership to transform the raw space into a sleek and powerful office. The grand entrance consists of a spectacular stone floor, back painted glass walls with stainless and wood surrounds and curved glass panels on the ceiling (which extend down into the reception area). The glass is all backlit An LCD screen that has its own light source from the back of the screen, making the background brighter and characters appear sharper. .

A majority of the space will be an open trading and research area, and all office walls are clear glass from floor to ceiling, allowing full access to those spectacular views.

"It's a beautiful piece of geometry floating 46 floors above Manhattan," said Larry Mufson, design partner of Mufson Partnership, who worked on the space together with project designer Jorge Ramos. "The views did most of the work for us, but we reinforced those views with simple design details, creating an appropriate and streamlined work environment for young, dynamic financial professionals."
