Firm leases 43,000 s/f on 3rd.

In an important midtown office leasing transaction, Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., a prominent international commodities trading firm, has leased 43,000 square feet comprising the entire 17th floor and a portion of the 16th at Charles S. Cohen's 805 Third Avenue at 50th Street in Manhattan.

The company expects to take occupancy of its new headquarters space later this year. At that time, it will relocate from its two current office locations at 437 Madison Avenue and 1285 Avenue of the Americas.

"We are delighted to welcome another prestigious global company to our building," stated owner/developer Charles S. Cohen, who is in the final stages of completing an ambitious $10 million renovation of 805 Third Avenue's lobby, atrium and common areas.

Paul Meyers of CB Richard Ellis represented Toyota in the long-term leasing transaction.
