Firm has school flooring plan covered.

Coverings Etc recently collaborated with the Yeshiva Ateret Torah, a private school in Brooklyn, NY, to update the flooring throughout the school and provide the students and faculty with a healthy, high-design alternative to furnish the space.

The material, Eco-Terr, is a product under the company's ECoverings line that gives buyers wise alternatives to environmental conservation.

Irwin Shamah, school administrator at Yeshiva Ateret Torah, is pleased with the Eco-Terr flooring because of the color it adds to the school. He feels the sustainable tiles are an ideal solution to the busy space because they wear well in high traffic areas and are easy to maintain; the tiles can be cleaned with a mild detergent and water.

The unique design layout was created by David Ashen, from D-ash Design, specifically for Yeshiva Ateret Torah and featured Eco-Terr colors, Oyster White, Bliss Blue and Cote D'azur.

The eco-friendly line is offered in a 41-color palette including five new seasonal colors, which were released to meet the growing demands of the company's consumers.

Eco-Terr tiles contain up to 80% post industrial recycled materials and are offered in polished, honed, sandblasted and antique finishes.

The tiles are install-ready, rectified and calibrated. They are available in a 16"x16"x5/8" or 24"x24"x3/4" size.
