The Riverhead-based lumber and home improvement chain leased 400 Motor Parkway from Capitol Capitol, seat of the U.S. Congress
Capitol, seat of the U.S. government at Washington, D.C. It is the city's dominating monument, built on an elevated site that was chosen by George Washington in consultation with Major Pierre L'Enfant.

Jeff Schwartzberg, senior director in the industrial services division of Sutton & Edwards represented the landlord in the long-term transaction. Newmark of Long Island represented the tenant.

"They liked the easy access to the Long Island Expressway and the high visibility," said Schwartzberg.

The property, just off LIE Exit 55, is being vacated by IW Industries.
