Firepad Releases First Photo-sharing Technology for Palm OS Handhelds; FirePublisher Deployments Let Graphics-Rich Web Firms Grow Beyond the Desktop.

Firepad, Inc. Users of wireless Palm devices, such as Palm V units equipped with service from OmniSky or GoAmerica, can visit FireViewer.com(TM) to experience handheld wireless photo sharing from a demonstration implementation of FirePublisher. FireViewer, which can be downloaded from http://www.firepad.com/products/viewer/download.html, is required to enable the Palm device for photo sharing. Trial versions of the Windows NT-based FirePublisher server can be downloaded from http://www.firepad.com/products/fpublisher/download.html.
