Firebrick Engineers Co., a div. of Powers Holdings Inc., Milwaukee, has acquired the assets of The Nock Refractories Co., Cleveland, a metalcasting facility distributor since 1912.


Firebrick firebrick, brick that can withstand high temperatures, used to line flues, stacks, furnaces, and fireplaces.  Refractories Co., Cleveland, a metalcasting facility distributor since 1912. The new company will be managed by the current staff and will remain at its present location. Also, Firebrick Engineers acquired Carolina Firebrick Specialists, Charlotte, N.C., a refractory contractor specializing in metalcsting melt and furnace heat up services.
