Firearms Training Systems, Inc. Announces Contract Awards by the United Kingdom, The Singapore Army and Police Coast Guard, and Bahrain.

 Training Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: FATS) today announced that contracts have been awarded to the Company in the past several weeks with a total approximate value of $9,650,000 in backlog, plus options for approximately $6,400,000. The British Ministry of Defence awarded FATS a support contract with an estimated value of approximately $3,800,000 which will provide for two years of repair and maintenance of the 163 systems used to train the U.K. Armed Forces throughout the world. FATS also was awarded two support contracts by the Singapore Government to operate, train and maintain Singapore Army The Singapore Army (Chinese: 新加坡陆军部队, Malay: Tentera Singapura) is the land force and one of the three services of the Singapore Armed Forces.  and Police Coast Guard The Police Coast Guard (Abbreviation: PCG; Chinese: 警察海岸卫队; Malay: Polis Pengawal Pantai) is the water police operational unit of the Singapore Police Force which also takes on roles of the coast guard typically handled by the military or  systems with a total value of approximately $5,300,000 over three years and options for a three to nine year extension. Additionally, the Company advised that the Bahrain Defence Force has purchased small arms small arms, firearms designed primarily to be carried and fired by one person and, generally, held in the hands, as distinguished from heavy arms, or artillery.
