The idea for Handcuffs was conceived when a former tile contractor was out riding on his dirt bike. After taking a spill, a small hole was torn in his sweatshirt. When he later went to put on the same sweatshirt, his thumb popped out of the hole. Finding inspiration, the contractor turned to entrepreneur Marshall Gobuty to fully develop the idea of a gloved sweatshirt -- and HandCuffs went big time.

Now HandCuffs, a Los Angeles, CA-based manufacturer of men's, women's and children's sweatshirts, has developed its own chain of retail shops to showcase the company's innovative product in selected markets. HandCuffs has three stores in Western Michigan.

HandCuffs stylish sweatshirts are available now in men's, women's and children's sizes with four styles, including a crew neck pullover, hooded pullover, hooded front zip and a turtleneck.
