Cushman & Wakefield executive director Alexander M. Chudnoff and associate director Haley Klein arranged the transaction between the parties. "KBW was pleased to expand its presence at 787 Seventh Ave.," said Chudnoff. "The additional floor affords KBW with accommodations for its growth, in high-end space that was built-out less than two years ago."

Built in 1985, 787 Seventh Ave. is a 54-story, class-A office tower totaling more than 1.4 million square feet. In addition to KBW, major tenants include Wilkie Farr & Gallagher, BNP Paribas BNP Paribas (Euronext: BNP, TYO: 8665 ) is one of the main banks in Europe and France. It was created on 23 May 2000 through the merger of Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) and Paribas.  and Sidley Austin Sidley Austin LLP, formerly known as Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, is one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in the world. It is the sixth-largest U.S.-based corporate law firm with over 1,700 lawyers, annual revenues of more than one billion dollars, and offices in 16  Brown & Wood.

Founded in 1962, KBW is widely recognized as a leading authority in the banking, insurance, brokerage, asset management, mortgage banking and specialty finance sectors.
