Trumpf Group (Ditzingen, Germany Germany (jûr`mənē), Ger. Deutschland, officially Federal Republic of Germany, republic (2005 est. pop. 82,431,000), 137,699 sq mi (356,733 sq km). ) finished its fiscal year in June with sales increasing 22 1/2% to $976.6-million, with the pace set by growth within Germany (+37%). After-tax profit came to $70.7million, up from $66.3-million a year ago.

Mori Seiki [Mori Seiki - The Machine Tool Company -] [1] is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of machine tools. It was established in 1948 and is headquartered in Nagoya City, Japan.  Co. (Yamato Kooriyama, Japan) is expecting to post its first interim pre-tax loss in five years when it finalizes the half-year ending in September. The deficit could come to 750-million yen ,or $7-million, in the half; that compares with a 7.4-billion profit the previous year. Sales appear to have fallen 34%, as exports to the U.S. and Europe became sluggish. The company is forecasting that the entire fiscal year, which ends in March, will see profits plunge The term Plunge has multiple meanings:

 97%, abetted somewhat by the recent 10% increase in export prices to cope with the changing yen value.
