Financial Executive named finalist.

Financial Executive has been named a finalist in the 2007 national award competition by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). The magazine was cited for its 10-part series in 2006, FEI@75, which examined key issues that faced financial executives during the past 75 years; 2006 marked the 75th anniversary of its parent organization, Financial Executives International (FEI).

The magazine is guaranteed at least a bronze award in the Northeast

division regional competition, ASBPE's largest division. Altogether, more than 2,600 entries were received nationally in dozens of categories covering various types of publications and websites.

ASBPE calls the contest "by far the largest" competition for U.S. business publications. Winners are expected to be announced in July.
