, a commercial real estate boutique specializing in senior-level strategic services catering to the corporate commercial real estate market, today announced that Bankrate Inc., the web's leading aggregator of financial rate information, has signed a 10-year lease agreement at 477 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. It runs from Madison Square (23d St.) to the Madison Bridge over the Harlem River (138th St.). In the 1940s and 50s, some of the major U.S.  for 8,768 square feet of space.

PBS Realty Advisors Principal Robert Emden Jacob Robert Emden (March 4 1862–October 8 1940) was a Swiss astrophysicist and meteorologist. He was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 1907 he became associate professor of physics and meteorology at the Technical University of Munich. , along with Peter James Fisch and Steven Renbaum represented Bankrate in the transaction.

Headquartered in North Palm Beach Florida, Bankrate Inc. will relocate its New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 corporate office from 11 E. 44th Street, where the company currently occupies 4,500 s/f.. Bankrate Inc. will move in around April 2006 to its new space at 477 Madison, where the company will occupy approximately twice the amount of space.

"We were pleased to secure such prime Plaza District space for Bankrate, as it represents an ideal location for the company to build its New York presence," said Robert Emden, Principal at PBS Realty Advisors. "As the Plaza District remains the preferred location for financial services firms, Bankrate will now be located in close proximity to existing and potential clients."
