Finally: Enough Evidence to Put a Cap on Water and Plastic Bottling Industry Water Expert, Peter Goodgold, Available for Interviews to Speak on USA Today, "BPA, Bisphenol A" Report about Contaminants in Plastic Bottles.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Peter Goodgold, the President of www.WaterWorks4u.com, a life-long expert in the water industry, author and speaker with extensive knowledge concerning plastic bottling practices, water contamination, water pollution, carcinogens in water, including the now proven toxic use of BPA Bisphenol A that leeches from plastic bottles into human beings, is available for television commentary and newspaper interviews on this subject.

"It's about time the truth about toxins and chemicals in plastic bottles came to the forefront," says Goodgold, referring to the report by USA Today as seen on the home page of America On Line (http://money.aol.com/usat/general/dangerous-plastics-the-bpa-problem) discussing the leeching of BPA Bisphenol A into the water we drink.

USA Today/AOL Story Finally Reveals Truths About Toxins in Plastic Water Bottles

In the USA Today/AOL Story, the following highlights of the dire consequences American's, children and even the unborn were being subjected to by consuming BPA Bisphenol A include the following:

* BPA is found in polycarbonate plastic, including most shatterproof baby bottles and sports water bottles, toys, dental sealants, food cans and microwaveable food containers.

* Rodent studies of bisphenol A, used in polycarbonate bottles, food cans and other products, have linked the synthetic estrogen to a host of human diseases.

* In experiments that looked at the reproductive systems of rodents -- which scientists say are comparable to humans -- doses similar to what a newborn would ingest from a bottle caused cells to divide at a faster rate and led to enlarged prostates and, eventually, prostate cancer.

* Scientists say fetuses and infants are especially at risk because they are still developing major parts of their body and BPA can alter how their genes are activated.

* BPA is found in the resin in can linings, in the polycarbonate in baby bottles, in dental sealants and elsewhere. The longer a liquid sits in a container made of BPA, the more BPA can leach into the product.

* Some medical conditions that have been associated with BPA in rodents:

* Early onset of puberty, Obesity, Diabetes, Hyperactivity, Breast cancer, Impaired immune function, Sperm defects, Prostate cancer and disease, Impaired reproductive development

BPA/Bisphenol A Proven to Harm Humans and Fetuses

"Chemicals, pollutants and toxins in our water could very well be the most serious problem this country is facing," says Goodgold, "it affects the health, vitality and well being of virtually every person across the United States, and now we see from this new report that Bisphenol A now has a serious, negative and detrimental affect on unborn fetuses and infants as well."

Adds Goodgold, "The economic as well as medical consequences not just of the new Bisphenol A report are simply incalculable and almost unfathomable, but now it comes right on the heels of another major breaking investigative news report released barely a month ago by the Associated Press (AP) who conducted a five month investigation revealing the frightening and startling news about the serious contamination of the nation's water supply."

The Nation's Water Supply is Tainted with Pharmaceutical Drugs

The article "Prescription Drugs Found in the Drinking Water Across U.S." (http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/03/10/pharma.water1.ap/) which appeared on the CNN.com news site contained some of the following key headlines and story points:

* A vast array of pharmaceuticals -- including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones -- have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows.

* In the course of a five-month inquiry, the AP discovered that drugs have been detected in the drinking water supplies of 24 major metropolitan areas -- from Southern California to Northern New Jersey, from Detroit, Michigan, to Louisville, Kentucky.

-- Members of the AP National Investigative Team reviewed hundreds of scientific reports, analyzed federal drinking water databases, visited environmental study sites and treatment plants and interviewed more than 230 officials, academics and scientists. They also surveyed the nation's 50 largest cities and a dozen other major water providers, as well as smaller community water providers in all 50 states. Here are some of the key test results obtained by the AP:

* Officials in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, said testing there discovered 56 pharmaceuticals or byproducts in treated drinking water, including medicines for pain, infection, high cholesterol, asthma, epilepsy, mental illness and heart problems. Sixty-three pharmaceuticals or byproducts were found in the city's watersheds.

* Anti-epileptic and anti-anxiety medications were detected in a portion of the treated drinking water for 18.5 million people in Southern California.

* Researchers at the U.S. Geological Survey analyzed a Passaic Valley Water Commission drinking water treatment plant, which serves 850,000 people in Northern New Jersey, and found a metabolized angina medicine and the mood-stabilizing carbamazepine in drinking water.

* A sex hormone was detected in the drinking water of San Francisco, California.

* The drinking water for Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas tested positive for six pharmaceuticals.

Problems with Nation's Water Supply are Now Crystal Clear

"It is crystal clear, unlike the contaminated tap water flowing from the nation's sinks and the chemically tainted water American's are sipping out of toxic water bottles every day," says Goodgold that something must be done to immediately address this problem.

"This is an election year and this should become a front and center national topic, this is one issue that Obama, Hillary and John McCaine can rally around and get support for," says Goodgold. Goodgold, a Wellington, Florida resident continues: "It is a business fact that companies such as Aquafina, Coca Cola, Dsani, Evian, among others are purging and ravaging our water supply around the country, then packaging it in poisonous plastic bottles and selling it to Americans at an insane profit. Something is wrong with this picture," says Goodgold.

For more than 20 years Goodgold has been lecturing around the country about the benefits of drinking highly alkalized, high-ph balanced, ionized water and the extraordinary health benefits proven to be derived when drinking this electrically charged, highly purified water through his easily adaptable system. Goodgold is the inventor of the Rejuvenator Water Purification Device, (www.waterworks4u.com) the least expensive and arguably the most potent and powerful water ionizer on the market.

While traveling around the country, during his presentations Goodgold discusses the issues facing Americans who daily drink contaminated water quietly flowing out of their water faucets and the negative health effects Americans are unknowingly suffering from drinking their tap water. In his presentation Goodgold also discusses the corporate plunder of the nation's water resources. He serves as an ardent advocate trumpeting the cause of the deadly health abuse of this country's citizens by corporate America bottling and packaging water in chemically tainted bottles. Says Goodgold, "What big companies are doing to our water supply and what some of the nation's largest bottling and plastics companies are serving to Americans could arguably be the biggest conspiracy and scandal the world has ever seen."

"Eventually, all truths are revealed," says Goodgold, "and this incredible topic could not have come at a better time, a time when this country is reviewing who it wants to lead this nation, this issue should be a top agenda for any Presidential candidate to get behind and support."

Presidential Candidates Should Endorse Article 31: All American's Should Have the Right to Drink Clean and Accessible Water

Goodgold encourages that both Republican and Democratic Parties adopt as a platform for their candidates Article 31, a document presented to the United Nations in 1948 to add a "31st article" to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights establishing clean and potable water as a fundamental human right. "We are seriously and severely lacking that right in this country and these two reports prove this," says Goodgold. Article 31 states: Everyone has the right to clean and accessible water, adequate for the health and well-being of the individual and family, and no one shall be deprived of such access or quality of water due to individual economic circumstance.

Live Younger, Healthier with Alkalized Ionized Water!

H2O consultant Peter Goodgold travels the USA lecturing on the benefits of an alkaline diet as well as the health and longevity aspects of drinking Alkalized Ionized water. His Rejuvenator water ionizer provides alkalized, oxygen-rich antioxidant water directly from ordinary tap water making it an effective tool balancing your body's pH. Peter Goodgold created Macrobiotic Raw Food restaurants in 1973 and the healing center "Healing Waters" which allowed people to detox, purify their bodies with live foods, fasting, meditation and yoga.
