Finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) Award Announced in New York Metropolitan Area.

NEW YORK -- Award Winners Named at Gala Event on Wednesday, June 28, 2006; Media Invited

Ernst & Young LLP today announced the finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2006 award in the Metropolitan New York area, which includes companies in Southwest Connecticut, the Lower Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island. This year's 29 finalists from 26 companies were selected from 50 nominations by an independent judging panel composed of area business, academic and civic leaders. This year's judging panel includes John Bello, President, JoNa Ventures, Regional Award Recipient in 1999 and National Award Recipient in 2001 for SoBe Beverages; Christopher Duda, Vice President, Goldman Sachs; Steve Hindy, President, Brooklyn Brewery and Regional Award Recipient in 2004; Roger Hurwitz, Partner, APAX Partners; Dr. Anat Lechner, Professor of Management, Stern School of Business, New York University; Terence Powell, Managing Director, Nasdaq; and Alair Townsend, Publisher, Crain's New York Business.

Award winners will be announced at a special 20th anniversary gala event on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, where the talented Joe Piscopo will serve as the program Emcee.
