Using ill treatment; injurious, improper, hurtful, offensive, reproachful.  tax avoidance The process whereby an individual plans his or her finances so as to apply all exemptions and deductions provided by tax laws to reduce taxable income.

Through tax avoidance, an individual takes advantage of all legal opportunities to minimize his or her state or federal
 transactions.

The regs require taxpayers to disclose their part in potentially abusive tax avoidance transactions, promoters PROMOTERS. In the English law, are those who in popular or penal actions prosecute in. their own names and the king's, having part of the fines and penalties.  to register abusive transactions and advisers to list clients who have entered into potentially abusive transactions.

Some of the transactions singled out by the IRS include those marketed under conditions of confidentiality, transactions with contractual protection and transactions generating a tax loss exceeding specified amounts.
