Final Roth 401(k) contribution rules.


The Dept. of Treasury has issued final regulations on secs. 401(k) and 401(m) related to designated Roth contributions.

Like traditional 401(k) plans, Roth 401(k) contributions are taken out of a participant's paycheck and deposited into selected investment options. However, Roth 401(k)s contributions will be made with after-tax af·ter-tax also af·ter·tax
adj.
Relating to or being that which remains after payment, especially of income taxes: after-tax profits.
