Filnet Reports Best Q1 Ever, Strong Q2; Increased Revenue Attributed to New Commercial and Government Projects.


ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Today Filnet, a data integrity and information technology (IT) firm, reports a strong start to its fiscal year. The firm's first quarter (Q1) revenues for 2006 are up 76.1% from the same period in 2005. Moreover, the company's second quarter (Q2), which ends June 30, is expected to see a 102% improvement over last year. Filnet's fiscal year starts January 1 and ends December 31.

"Filnet has entered its 10th anniversary on track to be its best year ever," says Filnet President/CEO Chris J. Baltazar. "In fact, Filnet recently secured a large project from a well known commercial firm, and we have brought on new staff to accommodate our growth in the government sector."

Mr. Baltazar explains that for "competitive reasons" he could not reveal the name of Filnet's new, high profile client. Instead, he remarks on the upcoming year and how Filnet plans to grow its data quality services, which is powered by Trillium trillium or wake-robin (trĭl`ēəm), any plant of the large genus Trillium, attractive spring wildflowers of the family Liliaceae (lily family), native to North America and E Asia.  Software(R). "Filnet has had encouraging feedback from our government clients regarding the comprehensive records cleansing applications of Trillium for their agencies," said Mr. Baltazar. "All indicators show significant growth of our quality data offerings in government throughout 2006 and 2007."
