Filnet CEO Elected to PACCDC Board; Chris J. Baltazar to be Key Player in the Association's Business Outreach Initiatives and Growth.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Today Filnet, an award winning information technology firm, announces the company's President/CEO Chris J. Baltazar has been elected to the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of the Washington Metropolitan Area (PACCDC) Board of Directors. Beginning in October, Mr. Baltazar will hold this position for two years, which will end in 2007.

"As a successful industry leader and an active member of the metropolitan business community, Chris Baltazar's expertise in commerce will help PACCDC to grow its membership base," said PACCDC President Carl Abella. "Chris will also be a key player in invigorating PACCDC and creating outreach initiatives that foster success among Filipino business owners or industry leaders looking to do business with minority owned enterprises."

Baltazar began his career as assistant to the director of Instructional Technology at Prince William County Public Schools in Virginia. Later, he spent several years as the creative director for Microstate Corporation. There he worked closely with clients like Morgan Stanley Dean-Witter, Cable and Wireless, and The Bermuda Stock Exchange. Baltazar is a member of a number of business organizations including the American Electronics Association, Filipino Young Professionals, and the US Pan Asian Chamber of Commerce. He founded Filnet, Inc. in 1996.

The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of the Metropolitan Washington, DC Area (PACCDC) is the premiere Filipino American business organization in the Mid-Atlantic region.
