BUZZ for 2002: Biggest problem for film-makers in 2002 could be securing financing from banks that have been burned too often in recent years... Studios will try to contain the spiraling cost of marketing movies. More than usual, the emphasis will be on cost-cutting and risk-averse financing... Expect a partial rebound in the exhibition industry, where a wave of consolidation and two years of eliminating troubled venues should begin paying dividends...
