FileNet announces 11th annual UserNet Conference; Workflow and document-imaging industry's largest and longest running user forum; Features interactive sessions on technology and applications.

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 1996--FileNet Corp. (Nasdaq NMS:FILE) today announced its eleventh annual UserNet conference will take place October 20-23, 1996 at the Anaheim Hilton & Towers in Anaheim, Calif. The conference provides FileNet customers with an interactive forum to participate in FileNet product strategy discussions and hands-on education seminars, as well as to hear user case studies and exchange information with colleagues from around the world.

With the theme "The Right Stuff," the UserNet Conference will feature, for the first time, sessions devoted to FileNet's Saros, Greenbar, and Watermark products. All FileNet customers, including those using the new product lines, will be invited to attend the conference. The conference will include presentations to inform and update customers on FileNet's "Foundation for Enterprise Document Management" strategy that creates a single-source solution for workflow, document-imaging, document-management, and COLD (Computer Output to Laser Disk) software.

After September 23, registration fees will be US$750 per person and US$700 per person for companies with more than one attendee. The annual Saros User Network (S.U.N.) conference will be held in Seattle, January 13-15, 1997. The two events will be converged in the third quarter of 1997 into a single global user group event.
