(Nasdaq NMS:FILE) today announced that it is now offering a version of FileNet Document Warehouse(TM) for SAP for the Microsoft(R) Windows NT(R) Server operating system. FileNet Document Warehouse for SAP enables users to capture, process, and store document images and related information from SAP R/3 business applications, creating a common document repository across the enterprise.

With its Windows NT support, FileNet Document Warehouse for SAP brings the valuable capability of a new, strong price/performance platform for easily linking document imaging to R/3 enterprise systems. The product also offers a new, scalable, cost-effective client/server solution to the growing number of companies that have standardized on the Windows NT environment.

Seamlessly integrated with the SAP ArchiveLink feature and R/3 application modules, including Business Workflow, FileNet Document Warehouse for SAP supports R/3 release 2.1, 2.2, and 3.0 systems. FileNet Document Warehouse for SAP streamlines document-intensive work processes and enables organizations to replace paper and microfilm with the automated retrieval of images, data, text, and other electronic information right at each user's desktop. The software increases control of documents by protecting them against loss or damage once electronically archived. It also reduces data and file management costs as millions of paper documents can be managed cost-effectively on magnetic and optical storage. It also helps users increase productivity as manual handling of paper documents is eliminated through the networked use of electronic document images linked to each SAP R/3 business process.
