Fifth Annual SABIS Regional Tournament.

- The International School of Choueifat, Sharjah, hosted on March 31 and April 1 the SABIS Regional Sports Tournament, bringing together 2,000 athletes from 17 schools in eight countries to compete together in the true Olympic spirit.Students came from Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Syria, Jordan, Qatar, Pakistan and UAE to compete in swimming, spirit, long jump, football and basketball events.The International School of Choueifat acquitted itself with honors in this tournament, winning 1st Place in the Under-10's Football, 1st Place in the 4x100-meter Boys' Relay (Muhammad Belbesi, Mahdi Odeh, Laith Mash'al, Faris Rasheed), and 2nd Place in the 4x100-meter Girls' Relay (Afnan Du'aij, Tala Khoury, Reem Tayyan, Reina Khoury), as well as 2nd place in the 25-meter Free Style Girls' Swimming (Lana Nimry).A total of over 400 medals and 50 trophies were distributed. Closing speeches were provided by Khalfan Roumi, Sharjah School chairman, and Mr Victor Saad, vice-president of Sabis' management arm, Intered.Fifth Annual SABIS Regional Tournament
