Fifth's Fashion Tower has a clothes call.


Amerex Group, Inc. has recently signed a 5-year deal at 499 Seventh Avenue, also known as the Fashion Tower, for a 4,500 full-floor space in the building's south tower that will serve as a new showroom for its trendy Akademiks JeaniusLevelProducts outerwear line.

Amerex, whose brands include Jones New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

Kaufman/Alder Realty's Michael Michael, archangel
Michael (mī`kəl) [Heb.,=who is like God?], archangel prominent in Christian, Jewish, and Muslim traditions. In the Bible and early Jewish literature, Michael is one of the angels of God's presence.
 Heaner, Michael Kaufman and Grant Greenspan represented both the tenant and the landlord in the transaction. Although the terms of the deal were undisclosed, the asking price was $35 per square foot.

"This is a chance for Akademiks to build a strong identity by having its own floor in an avenue building," said Heaner.

499 Seventh Avenue, or the Fashion Tower, was built in 1925.
