Fieldglass Chosen by AIGDC to Ensure More Efficient Management of Global Contract Labor Spend.

Fieldglass, a leading human capital management (HCM) software technology and services company, has signed a three-year agreement with American International Group Data Center, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), the leading U.S.-based international insurance and financial services organization and the largest underwriter of commercial and industrial insurance in the United States. AIGDC supports AIG operations both domestically and outside the United States.

InSite from Fieldglass is a vendor-neutral, Web-based application that creates a secure, private marketplace for a company and its chosen staffing suppliers. It automates and streamlines manual processes, so that corporate users can accurately track, measure and analyze every transaction for temporary services procurement, from "req to check." Implementation of the Fieldglass application typically results in savings of 15-25% of contract worker spend.

At AIG, InSite will be used to manage contingent workers in all labor categories, from administrative/clerical to technical and specialty business. InSite was initially deployed at AIG's American General subsidiary. The implementation of the Fieldglass application is currently underway at AIG's SunAmerica Inc. and the application will also be deployed at the corporate level as well other AIG subsidiaries, including AIG corporate.
