information service to investors via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web. As well, Inflightonline.com, the world's first provider of in-flight Internet and Intranet services, will team with Fidelity this fall to provide airline passengers access to fidelity.com content while they are in the air.

"Fidelity is expanding what 'wireless' means to today's investors," said Joseph G. Ferra, senior vice president, Fidelity Online Brokerage. "Our goals in 2000 are to continue to increase and enhance functionality to provide superior content and features, establish alliances with industry leaders and provide investors access to their investments across the broadest array of wireless and mobile commerce devices and services."

Fidelity will be featured on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web Home page - the phone's start page to the Sprint PCS Wireless Web. Fidelity customers can access their accounts, watch lists, market indices, stock quotes and other financial information, as well as place trades from the minibrowser on any Web-enabled phone supported by the Sprint PCS network. Fidelity's most active brokerage customers can now pay as little as $14 to place eligible online stock trades through wireless devices, including Sprint PCS Wireless Web phones, using InstantBroker technology(2).

"As the nation's largest all-digital wireless network, we are excited to work with Fidelity, a premiere provider of wireless investing services, to offer market data and financial resources to all of our customers via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web," said Andrew Sukawaty, Sprint PCS president.

"This alliance advances our strategy to enable consumers and businesses to access the information they need, when they need it."

Later this year, Fidelity plans to participate in Inflightonline.com's pilot to launch its new service, which will enable airline passengers with portable personal computers to link via the airline's in-flight phone connection to Fidelity online resources at a fraction of the cost of typical air phone connections.

"Fidelity's wealth of online investing information will be a valuable part of our revolutionary service for air travelers," said Bob Iversen, chairman and chief executive officer of Inflightonline.com. "By teaming with Fidelity, we will be able to provide today's travelers with new access to investing information to make productive use of their time while in flight."
