FiberCity Networks, Inc. has become profitable in Mitsui Fudosan Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (三井不動産株式会社   America's 1251 Avenue of the Americas office building within the first two months of operation. The. 2.3 million square foot property in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 City's Rockefeller Center Rockefeller Center, complex of buildings in central Manhattan, New York City, between 48th and 51st streets and Fifth Ave. and the Ave. of the Americas (Sixth Ave.). The project was sponsored by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.  is one of Manhattan's largest and most prestigious commercial buildings and one of many already served by FiberCity in the New York metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City. .

FiberCity's private network has been operating flawlessly in the Mitsui Fudosan building since December, and currently serves over 20% of the building's 49 tenants.

Each of FiberCity's customers is provided with an unprecedented 1 billion bits-per-second gigabit Ethernet connection -- the equivalent of 65.0 T-1 digital phone lines. The network enables a wide range of private communications services including wide area LANs, hosted thin-client server applications, storage area networking, and IP streaming of broadcast TV content, as well as Internet access at speeds starting at 100 million bits per second. All of these services are available and in use by FiberCity customers.
