One of the best things about listening to Vance read this is that it's obvious he's enjoying every minute of it; one of the other best things is that he is so good at it. His range and characterization of voices are perfect for the task, whether it's the raucous Punches; the beleaguered be·lea·guer

There are many more delicious bits, pieces, and characters--just say it's a little Hitchhiker's Guide, a little Alice in Wonderland, a lot of fictional nursery rhyme, and a big imagination having a wonderful time playing around.
