Guests include acclaimed singer-songwriters Jez Lowe and George Papavgeris, songwriting duo His Worship and The Pig and powerful singers Jim Mageean, Johnny Collins and Graeme Knights. The event also features a grand selection of home-grown talent including Black Parrot Seaside, The Harvey Band, the ragtime ragtime: see jazz. ragtime U.S. popular music of the late 19th and early 20th centuries distinguished by its heavily syncopated rhythm. Ragtime found its characteristic expression in formally structured piano compositions, the accented left-hand guitar-playing and singing of Dave Bennett and Brenda Hart, singer and comedian Keith Donnelly and former Meet on the Ledge singer and guitarist Ron Holmes. [Irish Gaelic céilidhe, from Old Irish célide, visit, from céle, Band provides the music for a rocking ceilidh. The festival also features a wide choice of sing arounds, music poetry and storytelling sessions, music and dance workshops, children's events, morris dancing and a chance to get in some Christmas shopping at the famous festival craft fair. Attracting the highest number of visitors to the town of Bedworth at any time in the year, the festival is based in the town's Civic Hall and Arts Centre but takes in a wide range of other venues. The music starts at 8.30pm and admission is free. A MIXTURE of harmony songs and Americana is featured on Tuesday at the Green Man Folk Club in Long Itchington. Guests are four-part singing group Nine penny Marl and Warwickshire quartet The Dustbowl String Band, specialising in traditional American music and dancing. The music starts at 8.30pm.
