Festival relishes the Big Mac sound.THOUSANDS of people flocked to a South Wales South Wales south n → sud m du Pays de Galles festival on Saturday for a day of family entertainment. The Big Mac Holy Soul Band was the highlight of the day at Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil Merthyr Tydfil (mûr`thər tĭd`vĭl), town (1981 pop. 38,893) and county borough, 43 sq mi (111 sq km), S Wales. Located on the Taff River, the town is connected to Cardiff by canal. It has ironworks and steelworks. , wowing the crowds until the official end of the day at 6pm. Clowns, bouncy castles, stalls and entertainers were on hand to ensure a funpacked day was had by all.
